WAM Revisited op.40 (2013)

"WAM Revisited" takes its material from Mozart's quintet for clarinet. A quintet that I play on an amateur level. I did not follow a preconceived plan, other than following the four movements in their original order. Of course, inside each movement, the initial landmarks are dislocated, tangled, blown up and deformed. Nonetheless, here and there, appear bits of the original music that allow the listener to identify the movement and the transformations it undergoes. I added some sounds with a keyboard, but very little. I see "WAM Revisited" as an attempt to bring a classical piece towards an enlarged sound universe that is totally alien to the initial organization planned by Mozart.
