After playing "El Polifemo de Oro" (first version) by Reginald Smith Brindle, I wanted to render an homage to the composer. With these six brief pieces, I tried to capture the atmosphere of "El Polifemo de Oro".
You can discover 2 alternate arrangements for wind quartet (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon) and another one for an ensemble of 15 musicians.
There is also another version in quartet format for flute, clarinet, violin, violoncello.
